The Origin Story

It started with a memory.

It was 2007. A basement, too much free time, and a warm case of whatever was cheapest. Life was simple. The years ahead were unknown. And every beer felt like a small ceremony marking the passage of time.

Fast forward to last week — and those memories are still vivid. The music, the moments, the people, the places. The idea hit: what if you could actually play through it all?

One week of late nights later, Idle Beers Over the Years was born. Not as a drinking game, but as a time capsule — an idle journey through growing up, one year at a time. Today is day one.
